Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Wisper Field. They apply to the Wisper Field iPhone app, the Wisper Field keyboard, and the wisperfield.com website (together, the "service"). Please read them: they explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using Wisper Field, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Wisper Field on behalf of someone else or an organization, you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms for them.
The service
Wisper Field is an AI voice dictation keyboard for iPhone. It has two parts that work together: a custom keyboard you can use in any app with a text field, and a companion app where recording happens (iOS does not allow keyboards themselves to record audio). When you dictate, we transcribe your speech and use AI to clean it up (removing filler words and fixing punctuation and formatting) before the text is inserted where you were typing.
The service requires an iPhone running iOS 26 or later. The QWERTY keyboard works on its own; voice dictation requires that you enable Allow Full Access for the keyboard and grant microphone permission in the app. Dictation also requires an internet connection.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and old enough to use the App Store under Apple's terms. You can try Wisper Field before creating an account; to keep your settings and use the service fully, sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account, and you agree to keep your sign-in method secure. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, contact us at support@wisperfield.com.
Free plan
Wisper Field includes a free plan with up to 1,000 dictated words per week. No trial or payment details are needed. We may change free-plan limits or features over time; if we reduce them meaningfully, we will give you reasonable notice in the app or by other means before the change takes effect.
Pro subscription
Wisper Field Pro removes the weekly word limit. Pro costs $12 per month billed annually, or $15 billed month to month. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App Store before you subscribe. See pricing for details.
- Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- If we change the price of your subscription, you will be notified before the new price applies, consistent with App Store rules.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. Request one through the App Store; if you get stuck, we are happy to point you in the right direction via support.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to create or send unlawful content;
- abuse the service, including circumventing usage limits, sharing account access to avoid paying, or using automation to generate artificial usage;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the service or the systems it runs on;
- resell or redistribute the service, or misrepresent it as your own.
We may suspend or limit access that violates these rules, and we may remove abusive usage from free-plan allowances.
Intellectual property
The Wisper Field app, keyboard, website, branding, and all software behind them belong to us and our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your iPhone under these terms.
Your content is yours. Anything you dictate (and the text the service produces from it) belongs to you. You grant us only the limited license we need to operate the service: to receive your audio, transcribe it, clean it up, and return the text to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
AI output disclaimer
Wisper Field uses AI transcription and cleanup, and AI makes mistakes. Transcribed text may contain errors, omissions, or wording you did not intend. Review your text before sending or relying on it, especially for anything important: medical, legal, financial, or otherwise consequential. You are responsible for the content you send using the service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wisper Field will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
You can stop using Wisper Field at any time, and you can delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we will give you reasonable advance notice: in the app, by email, or on this page. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. The effective date at the top always tells you when the current version took effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you have under the mandatory laws of the place where you live.
